OUR MISSION
We are a body of believers united in Christ to proclaim, live, love and serve according to God’s Word.
OUR VISION
God calls us to be an inviting church, extending a welcome to all who will open their hearts to the worship and teachings of Jesus Christ. We are also called to come together faithfully in worship and fellowship. As disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ, we desire to grow in our faith and use our spiritual gifts to minister in our church, our community and throughout the world.
OUR STRUCTURE
We operate under the traditional Baptist structure with a Council of Deacons, a Board of Trustees, a Board of Missions, and a Board of Christian Education. In addition there are several committees for the various other ministries of the church. A deacon serves on each board and committee.

OUR HISTORY
Although erected in 1800 as the First Meeting House in the village, the church was officially founded as First Baptist Church of Hoosick Falls in 1847. The original church cemetery still remains on the property; we have a long and very rich history.
OUR PASTOR: REVEREND DAVID HALL
Reverend David Hall began his pastorate at First Baptist Hoosick Falls in June of 2017. He is a local resident of the town, having lived in Hoosick all his life. Pastor David received his Master of Divinity degree from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary located in South Hamilton, MA and was ordained a Baptist minister in 1985. He served ten years as pastor of the Buskirk Reformed Church and another ten years pastoring the Hoosick Baptist Church (in Hoosick, NY). Before being called to his present position, Pastor David ministered for 15 years teaching history and Bible to high school students at Grace Christian School in Bennington, VT. He has also spent time on the mission field both in the United States and around the world, having ministered in Haiti, Thailand, Mexico and the Dominican Republic. Pastor David is single and lives in the parsonage next to the church building.
